When faced with trying to honor each of their children's unique genius, Sherri Lander Smith and Elizabeth Kanna found they had to look outside the current educational systems.

Elizabeth and Sherri profoundly believe that each of their children have unique gifts and talents.  They realized that schools were not able to consistently or adequately provide the kind of customized education that they felt was essential to their children's future success. Elizabeth and Sherri created a customized education for their children that honors each of their children's individual learning styles, interests and intelligences -- their unique genius.

They believe that it is every child's birthright to be educated as a unique and gifted human being.  Elizabeth and Sherri have founded Genie U to help other parents realize that mission.
